Pop Goes the Weasle

If you try to suppress a sneeze, you can rupture a blood vessel in your head or neck and die.

  1. Pop goes the Weasle – Actually, death is only a theory since there has been no recorded case of such account. However the optic nerve behind your eyeball can be dammaged and result in blindness.

  2. not true! – i did a report on this in high school, contrary to popular belief, you will not die if you surpress your sneezes, you could, however slightly fracture one of the lower blood vessels in your neck, so if you can sneeze hard enough so that the lower particles would be slightly aroused, the only thing that would happen is a slight prick to your neck but nothing worse

  3. Hmmm… – I suppress sneezes by holding my nose and nothinghappens to me. It just so happens that I’m already blind, was born that way. So I guess I dont’ have to worry about the optic nerve thing haha!

  4. riiiiight – If you were truly blind, how would you even read this page to find out that if you surpress a sneeze you might go blind anyways. HUH HUH!?!?!?

  5. That ain’t true – if u suppress a sneeze how the hell kan u rupture a blood vessel in ur head or neck and die? That must be a serious sneeze to do that. (sarkastik)
